The intention is to introduce the students to holistic health and wellness, showing how it can serve as a solution to dealing with stress, anxiety, pressure and uncertainty. •The Wellness Symposium consists of three main elements: a vendor fair, keynote speaker sessions and smaller demonstrations/breakout sessions •Each symposium is THREE days in length during weekdays and takes place in Spring 2010 The vendor fair is an exposition of various businesses that will showcase/sell a wide variety of holistic health and wellness products, services, practices and modalities. The vendor fair will run all three days between 10am-4pm in high traffic areas throughout the Campuses. Event Dates: –York University, Toronto – March 9, 10, 11 –Ryerson University, Toronto - March 29, 30, 31 –University of Toronto – March 22, 23, 24 Demographics: There are over 120,000 students that attend these 3 major Universities in the GTA - 83% aged 18-24 - 15% aged 25-39 - 2% aged over 30 The event is also open to Faculty, Friends and Family Investment to Participate as an Exhibitor: $395.00 plus GST per Campus or participate in all three Campuses for $1000.00 plus GST total Contact
